i want to get a tattoo in 6 months it going to be a quote its going to be my first tattoo and not the last( i guess)

now i did a lot of research before deciding on getting inked and im ready for it

i always liked the phonenix tattoos and its meaning

i was considering getting a phoenix but icouldnt find anything that i liked

now i found an image that i really really like the onyl thing is that i dont know if its “tattooable”
its a phoenix from a movie( the chronicles of narnia :prince caspian) the only thing is that you can only the the underside of the bird
here are the pictures:
http://www. movie-poster. ws/movies/wallpaper/family/narnia/images/pictures/phoenix. jpg
http://images1. wikia. nocookie. net/narnia/images/thumb/a/aa/Narnian_Phoenix. jpg/200px-Narnian_Phoenix. jpg
http://img368. imageshack. us/img368/2091/phoenixstep2b5wy. jpg

if any one you saw the movie i tihnk that you know what im talking about ok so here a little summery:
some kind of creature was shooting an arrow from a bow then the arrow transformed into a phoenix in the sky then the phoenix light on fire starting from its tail, wings etc. . . .

I would suggest taking these pictures to a few different tattoo shops and letting them draw you up something. (of course there will probably be a small fee for the artist to do this) But in talking to them and letting them do this, you will be able to see the artist talent which helps in deciding who you want to tattoo you. Generally if you find a good artist they will have no problems taking anything you bring them and turning it into a beautiful tattoo. That is their job of course. And if they give you a hard time, then you probably don’t want them tattooing you anyway. Remember, with tattoos you get what you pay for. So if your cheap about spending the money to let them draw it up, then your probably going to end up with cheap work on your body. Good Luck!

I love the second pic. Print that out and bring it to a tattoo artist. They will know what to do. That would be totally awesome if you got that across your back, just a suggestion :]

A tattoo is something about who u r.
A part of your life. A memory .
    Something important or meaningful .
    Don’t become a coloring book or a
    walking billboard with your body.
Please stop and rethink what you
are trying to say. You are not a bird
or work in a zoo or make movies ????

The 1st picture gives the most information about the detail of the bird. Yes, it is definitely ‘tattooable’, but I would advise to use this as inspiration so that your phoenix is just that, yours. Take the parts from any phoenix image, or other bird images and give them to your artist. Write down how you think the phoenix should look, and see what your artist comes up with.
I have done some searching about phoenix characteristics, and they are somewhat loose. Supposedly, they have some sort of gold or yellow somewhere on their necks, their bodies are often dark/indigo or purple, I have seen most depictions with long tail feathers, and of course the rising from the flames and/or ashes. The head used to be drawn more like a peacock, and then somewhere around WW11 they started to be drawn with more of an eagle head. The older descriptions, talk of some sort of odd feathers that stick up off the top of the head (think peacock again). But also, each phoenix is different, and they rise every 500 years all new again.
Hope this helps you a bit.
Make it yours! And don’t forget to tip!
    luck

    hi
i would go for the back and include some of the background image 3 would be amazing research an artist close to you who does freehand
so you can discuss the piece in detail before starting ,
i feel a larger tattoo would contain enough detail to do it justice

Don’t worry if you can’t find a design..
Your artist can help you with that.
The Phoenix is a traditional piece…
